Myrtle is just about complete & ready to make her debut at the @stpetepier!
She arrived just a little over a year ago, rode out the hurricanes weeks later, endured a 4 foot flash flood with storm #2, lots of damage, off to restoration she went, paint and lots of engine repair. Now she’s about to go live her best life making people happy at the most iconic location. We did it!

This October, we joined the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk to honor the incredible survivors and thrivers who inspire us all. 🌸
With the help of our amazing volunteers (and the beautiful Show + Tell Room at @armatureworks_tampa ), we created Crowns of Courage — handmade flower crowns to celebrate strength, hope, and healing.
Thanks to @jpmorganchase and @hcafloridahealthcare for helping us share 1,200 pink roses across the Tampa and Sarasota walks. 💖

Sunny Girl is a medium yellow herbaceous peony that will fade to white/cream as it ages. Here’s a little story & reflection from this time last year.
While we didn’t flood or have damage from Hurricane Helene and thought we escaped the worst of it, days later we suffered a freak flash flood that caused a lot of damage to our warehouse and office. Let the first cleanup begin!!
What was crazy the day of the flash flood our fearless leader peaked out a stairwell (no electricity for elevators) from her mom’s 10 story condo building on Treasure Island (as she was assessing its damage.) She noticed storm clouds in the direction of Oldsmar, aka Posies HQ. Little did she know she was witnessing the exact moment we flooded for the first time. It of course wouldn’t be the last nor would we escape damage to some of trucks with storm #2!
Here comes Milton and despite moving trucks all over Tampa Bay to escape flooding, 3 trucks endured another flash flood of 4 feet of water at another location (can’t make this stuff up). Of course Posies HQ flooded a second time! 😂
The truck currently located @armatureworks_tampa is the one pictured with the water line mark. She was able to be salvaged and cleaned up along with the others, one of which is now headed to the St Pete Pier. Remarkable!
We can honestly say we almost threw in the towel after all of the chaos. It was the most stressful time and we didn’t know if we could continue to run the business. We had no place to work and with so much damage to the trucks it was daunting. But like everyone else we got to work and figured it out. We also realized we didn’t loose nearly as much as some.
Now here we are, a year later, a once flooded truck inside Armature Works living her best life, another once flooded truck headed to the @stpetepier and all our others making people happy across our beautiful Tampa Bay.
