This year we’re on a mission to create 200 beautiful pink flower “Crowns of Courage” for the inspiring survivors and thrivers of breast cancer participating in the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walkathons in Sarasota, Tampa, and Winter Park.
We’ve proudly attended this touching event and have gifted the flower crowns, however with our goal growing bigger each year, we find ourselves needing the communities help! We’re hosting a FREE volunteer Flower Crowns of Courage event to achieve our goal! Whether you craft one or many, your time and creativity will help us crown these incredible women and bring smiles to their faces.
This is a FREE event and all are welcome. Come be a part of this meaningful cause, learn the art of flower crown making, and help support breast cancer awareness in a fun, hands-on way. Help us reach our goal of 200 Crowns of Courage together!Please register below so we have an estimate of volunteers. Thank you for joining this amazing act of kindness.

We’re so very busy finalizing everything Valentines but one thing is certain DOGHOUSE DAY is set!
Now a Posies tradition, we continue to save relationships while taking cute pup photos the day after Valentines 💌, February 15! 🐶 🐾 🌼 (We really use this to take cute pup photos with one of our flower trucks, if we save a relationship along the way it’s a win- win! 😂)

Flower of the Year
The 2026 Flower of the Year is the delphinium, a tall, elegant flower. You’ll spy these beautiful stems in rich purples, soft blues, and creamy white hues.
Tall and stately, the delphinium flower has a rich history, appearing in everything from mid-17th century art to 1930s flower shows. Moving into the future, the delphinium makes a good choice for 2026 Flower of the Year because its colors evoke calm. Being surrounded by flowers like delphiniums effectively communicates a message of tranquility and hope.

Closing out 2025 feeling incredibly proud and deeply grateful.
This year was built on a lot of hard work, long days, early mornings, and a team that shows up again and again with care, creativity, and heart. Together, we moved over 230,000 stems, added another truck to the road, grew our team to more than 20 people, and officially turned on delivery, something we’ve been working toward for a long time. We were out with the trucks 250+ times, kept Armature Works open for 2,750+ hours, and learned (once again) that roses and gerberas will always have a special place here.
None of this happens without the people behind the scenes and the community that continues to support Posies, season after season. To our staff: thank you for your energy, your reliability, your creativity, and the care you bring to every single day. And to our community: thank you for choosing us for celebrations, milestones, ordinary Tuesdays, and everything in between.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re carrying everything we learned this year with us—excited, grounded, and ready to keep building something special. We really rocked it this year, and we’re just getting started.

Time to pause for a Gerbera moment!
A little history - Gerberas were first discovered in South Africa in 1884 by botanist Robert Jameson, after whom the Gerbera jamesonii is named. These flowers quickly gained popularity due to their bright colours and large, daisy-like appearance. Over time, they spread to various parts of the world, including Europe and the United States, where they became a beloved garden and florist staple. Today, gerberas are grown in many countries and are particularly popular in the Netherlands, a major hub for flower cultivation.
Gerbera flower meaning is about joy, innocence, and purity, depending on context, which makes it ideal for celebrating occasions like new beginnings and fresh starts in life. When you give someone a Gerbera daisy, you’re essentially saying “your friendship brightens my days” or expressing gratitude for their being there.
A Posies flower staple, we cry in happiness and delight when they arrive each week (fact). They also reside in the most covenant spot on the trucks - front & center!
