Proud Posies Moment!

Our girl @tianna_stamas was selected to compete in the Select USA Bowl in L.A for Flag Football!

This is a huge opportunity for her to compete with other selected players from across the country, who then form teams to play against each other.

Some players will be invited to the USA Adult Team Trials! This is THE tryout for the USA National flag football team, which would compete in the 2028 Olympics!

To say we’re proud of her & all she’s accomplished is an understatement! Go get it girl, your Posies family and all of #tampabay is cheering you on!

🌹 Say hi to Posies “Rosie”

The 65 year old Rosie is living her best life as one of our sweetest flower trucks. She went through the biggest restoration out of all of them and holds a special place in our hearts.

With her split window safari window’s and iconic VW front end she stands out in the crowd. The fact that 65 years later she is still working hard as a truck let alone a flower truck is just magical. Shine on Miss Rosie!

We seem to confuse people with our Posies clones, of course mom can tell them apart, ask her and she will gladly spew all the #vw details, maybe even show you a picture slideshow. 🤣

“Hanging Heliconia” aka Lobster Claw, Fuzzy Heliconia.

We brought this unique tropical stem back from a recent road trip to Miami. It’s been welcomed with mixed feelings around Posies! Some of us absolutely love it and others, well they feel it’s what nightmares are made from. We won’t lie it is odd, quite the conversation piece that’s for sure. We were able to add it to an arrangement this week and patiently we wait to hear how well or not it was received by guests! Some of us were happy to see it go, ha ha!

A few facts:
The Hanging Heliconia is botanically known as Heliconia rostrata. This exotic tropical flower is native to South America and can be found from Columbia to Peru, but is mainly imported from Hawaii. Mature plants can reach heights of 10 feet.
